Blackjack Rules & Wagering

Objective

Beat the dealer by getting a hand value closer to 21 without going over (busting).

Game Rules

  • Card Values: Cards 2-10 are worth their face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10, and Aces are worth 1 or 11 (whichever is better).
  • Gameplay: Players are dealt two cards, as is the dealer (one dealer card is hidden). Players can choose to Hit (take another card), Stand (keep current hand), or Split (if dealt two cards of the same rank, split into two hands).
  • Dealer Rules: Dealer must hit until their hand is at least 17, then stand.
  • Winning: Win by having a higher hand than the dealer without busting, or if the dealer busts. A Blackjack (Ace + 10-value card) pays higher.
  • Push: If player and dealer have the same hand value, it’s a tie, and the wager is returned.

Wagering with Airdrop Points

  • Earn Mode: Play without wagering to earn Airdrop Points. Win a hand to earn 1 point, or get a Blackjack to earn 2.5 points.
  • Wager Mode: Toggle to wager 1 Airdrop Point per hand. Win a hand to earn 3 points, get a Blackjack to earn 7.5 points, or push to get your 1 point back. Bust or lose, and the point is lost.
  • Minimum Requirement: You need at least 1 Airdrop Point to play in Wager Mode.

Earning Airdrop Points

  • Blackjack Game: Earn 1 point per win, 2.5 points for a Blackjack in Earn Mode. In Wager Mode, earn 3 points per win, 7.5 points for a Blackjack, or 1 point returned on a push.
  • TradeBot: Earn 20 points for connecting a wallet, 20 points for authorizing TradeBot, and 1 point per successful trade (manual or automatic).
  • Courses: Earn 1 point per correct quiz answer (first attempt only) and 20 points for passing the final test (70% or higher, first attempt only) in each course (Python, Blockchain, HTML & CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Phantom & Solana).
  • NewbieVerse RPG: Earn 1 point per NPC quest completed (8-hour cooldown).
  • Tetris Game: Earn points based on game performance (specifics depend on implementation).

Tips

  • Practice in Earn Mode to build Airdrop Points before wagering.
  • Use Split strategically when dealt two cards of the same rank.
  • Monitor your Airdrop Points to ensure you have enough for Wager Mode.
  • Explore all avenues (TradeBot, Courses, RPG, Tetris) to maximize Airdrop Points for wagering.
